I'm just a regular small time girl who got to relocate from timbucktwo, WA to sunny So Cal. in the late 80's and has loved it every since. Along the way (between jet setting around the globe with my backpack) I was fortunate enough to find my soulmate and together we are forging our way towards freedom of the everyday life. By day I have been a business consultant specializing in small business accounting software, but by night and weekends I've been a wine lover, Mini Cooper owner, traveler and someone who just enjoys new experiences and spending time with friends and family and Porter the dog.

I'm now logging my journey of being the normal everyday person who escapes. I'll be logging the process of getting Italain citizenship and what it takes to finally get to experience the move of a lifetime to Italy and the everyday life of the escape artist who discovers the perfect wine!

And someday, someday.....I'll add what it's like to start a winery. Cin cin!
